Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing

1.1 Marketplace Model

Hadiya Souq operates as a marketplace. Orders may be:

  • Fulfilled directly by Hadiya Souq (Hadiya-Fulfilled), or

  • Fulfilled by independent vendors (“Vendor-Fulfilled”) listed on our platform.

Regardless of who fulfils the order:

  • All orders are placed on Hadiya Souq.

  • Customer service is handled entirely by Hadiya Souq.

  • You will always receive order confirmations and updates from Hadiya Souq.

2. Processing Times

Processing times vary depending on the fulfilment method.

2.1 Hadiya-Fulfilled Orders

  • Processed within 1–2 business days.

  • Orders placed after 2pm may be processed the next business day.

2.2 Vendor-Fulfilled Orders

  • Vendors typically ship within 3–4 business days.

  • Some handmade, custom, or pre-order items may require additional time.
    Expected processing times will be shown on the product page where applicable.

3. Delivery Timelines

3.1 Lagos

  • Same-day delivery available for some Hadiya-Fulfilled items.

  • Standard delivery: 1–3 business days.

3.2 Other Nigerian Cities

  • Delivery within 3–6 business days depending on location and courier availability.

3.3 International Shipping

  • International shipping is available on select products.
    Delivery times and rates will be shown at checkout.

4. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated based on:

  • Weight and dimensions of your order

  • Delivery address

  • Fulfilment method (Hadiya or vendor)

  • Courier service selected

Fees will be displayed at checkout before you make payment.

5. Pay on Delivery (POD)

POD is not currently available however we plan to introduce this option at a later date.

 

6. Delivery Attempts

Our riders or partner couriers will make up to two delivery attempts.
If we are unable to reach you:

  • The package will be returned to us or the vendor.

  • You may be responsible for additional redelivery fees.

7. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you’ll receive:

  • A shipping confirmation

  • Tracking details (when available)

Vendor-Fulfilled items may use different couriers and tracking systems.

8. Split Deliveries

Because Hadiya Souq is a marketplace:

  • Items in your order may ship from different locations

  • You may receive multiple packages

Your order summary will show which items are shipping together.

9. Delivery Issues

If you experience:

  • Delays

  • Missing items

  • Damaged packages

  • Wrong orders

Hadiya Souq will work with the vendor to resolve the issue promptly.

10. Restrictions

We may be unable to ship to certain remote locations. If this occurs:

  • You will be notified within 24–48 hours

  • A full refund will be issued for the affected items

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
